The overtime will enhance the effectiveness of the program and allow both <br />saturation/surge patrols during varying hours of the day. Realizing crime is not restricted by city limits, <br />the overtime hours will allow these deputies the flexibility to assist other local and regional investigative <br />details combating property crimes <br />4 of deputies x $68.46/43 hrs. each(total hrs. 172.12) = $11,784 <br />Timeline and/or project plan: Identify when the goals and objectives will be completed. <br />Complete within the next fiscal year - 2012/2013 - Deployment of saturation patrols to reduce property <br />crime rates in the unincorporated areas of south Orange County. <br />Funding: <br />Total Allocation: $14,548 <br />PROACT Contribution: (10%) $1,455 <br />Administrative Fee (9%): $1,309 <br />Funds Retained by City/County: $11,784 <br />2012-DJ-BX-2532 20A_1 2 Page 5 of 30
