ATTACHMENT A 2012-DJ-BX-0057 <br />Strategies to be used for project: <br />Community policing efforts are already underway in Stanton. Previous JAG and other grant funding has <br />allowed us to implement a gang education and prevention program in our local schools and to conducted <br />limited neighborhood and business watch activities. Currently funds are limited for targeting specific <br />areas that are experiencing increased vandalism/graffiti and increased complaints. <br />Project identifiers: See JAG Identifiers (attached) <br />Overtime (Deputies for directed enforcement efforts) <br />Budget and Budget Narrative: <br />Personnel OT- $8,946.10 <br />Timeline and/or project plan: Identify when the goals and objectives will be completed <br />Community policing efforts are already underway in Stanton. Previous JAG and other grant funding has <br />allowed us to implement a gang education and prevention program in our local schools and to conducted <br />limited neighborhood and business watch activities. Currently funds are limited for targeting specific <br />areas that are experiencing increased vandalism/graffiti and increased complaints. <br />It is our intent to approach every community in Stanton in the next 12 months and direct personnel to <br />combat or eliminate their specific problem(s) whether it is graffiti, loitering, illegal drug activity, public <br />alcohol consumption or otherwise. We are also working with the City of Stanton to determine <br />enforcement and presence needs during their upcoming community events. <br />Funding: <br />Total Allocation: $11,710 <br />PROACT Contribution: (10%) $1,171 <br />Administrative Fee: (9%) $1,054 <br />Funds Retained by City/County: $9,485 <br />2012-DJ-BX-2532 20"-35 Page 28 of 30
