EXHIBIT A <br />SPECIFICATION FOR <br />PARKING CONTROL SERVICES <br />1. DESCRIPTION AND SCOPE OF WORK <br />Contractor shall be responsible for enforcing parking regulations, as outlined in the <br />Santa Ana Municipal Code, of over 650 weekly residential street sweeping curb <br />miles, residential permit parking district enforcement and other parking enforcement <br />services as assigned by the Police Department <br />A. IMPLEMENTATION <br />1. Contractor will assume responsibility for parking control enforcement services <br />of the entire City as it relates to street sweeping enforcement and other <br />related violations as designated by the Chief of Police. <br />2. The street sweeping routes will be provided by the City of Santa Ana Police <br />Department after contractor selection. <br />3. City Staff shall have the right to modify, reduce or delete the amount of <br />parking enforcement schedules, routes, frequency, phases, standards, days <br />of parking control enforcement services and remove contract personnel with <br />prior notice to Contractor. <br />4. Contractor shall provide traffic control services as necessary on either an <br />emergency or pre-planned basis. <br />B. PERFORMANCE ON SCHEDULE <br />Contractor will be provided work schedules which correspond to the City's <br />established service schedules. Contractor will be provided the opportunity to <br />discuss with the City adjusting established schedules to meet special <br />circumstances. The City will make all final decisions pertaining to adjustment of <br />schedules based on feasibility and efficiency with the goal of completing parking <br />control enforcement services on the day scheduled. <br />II. CONTRACTOR REQUIREMENTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES <br />A. WORK ASSIGNMENTS AND SCHEDULE <br />Contractor shall be provided schedules by the City. Contractor shall submit a <br />written route schedule to the City Projects Manager or designee within fifteen <br />(15) days of the effective date of an executed agreement. This schedule shall <br />clearly identify the tasks required by this agreement and days they are scheduled <br />to be performed in each particular area. Contractor shall have ability to review <br />and propose schedule modifications to the City for review as efforts to improve <br />parking control program efficiency.
