P~CPEALED BY: 0RD~ <br /> <br /> / ~- ~- 0 ~ RESOLUTION NO. 2001-016 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> SANTA ANA ESTABLISHING CERTAIN COMMITTEES OF <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. The City Council hereby finds, determines and declares as follows: <br /> <br />A. By Resolution No 98-091, the City Council created eight (8) Council <br />committees for the purpose of focusing greater Council attention on key priorities <br />coming before the Council in the future. <br /> <br />B. By Resolution No 99-069, the City Council amended Resolution No. 98- <br />091 to reorganize and create six (6) committees. <br /> <br />C. The City Council seeks to revise Resolution No. 99-069 to reorganize and <br />create six committees, in order to improve efficiency and productivity of the <br />committee process. <br /> <br /> Section 2. From and after the date hereof, there shall be the following <br />committees of the City Council: <br /> <br />Neighborhood Improvement/Code Enforcement <br />South Main Street Improvement Plan <br />Public Safety <br />Education & Youth Programs <br />Park Development/Joint Use Facilities <br />Arts and Culture <br /> <br /> Section 3. Resolution No. 99-069 is hereby repealed in its entirety and shall <br />be null and void for all purposes. <br /> <br /> Section 4. Section 1 of Resolution No. 98-091 is hereby repealed and shall be <br />null and void for all purposes. Sections 2, 3, 4 and 5 of Resolution No. 98-091 are <br />unaffected by this Resolution and shall remain in full force and effect. <br /> <br />ADOPTED this 20th day of February, 2001. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Pa~g~a E.
