Set Public Hearing For <br />CONTINUED TO <br />FILE NUMBER <br />Adopt a resolution authorizing the City Manager to submit applications for funding <br />consideration under the Measure M2 Comprehensive Transportation Funding Program. <br />2. Direct staff to amend the seven-year Capital Improvement Program to incorporate the <br />Comprehensive Transportation Funding Program projects list. <br />DISCUSSION <br />The Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA) has issued a call for projects under the <br />Measure M2 Comprehensive Transportation Funding Program (CTFP) for FY 13/14 through FY <br />15/16. Funding in the amount of $35 million will be awarded on a countywide competitive basis <br />in the Regional Capacity and Traffic Signal Synchronization CTFP programs. <br />The City will be submitting six applications totaling $15,109,026 in grant fund requests. Existing <br />and future local funding sources will be used to provide the required matching funds for the <br />recommended projects. <br />Staff is requesting authorization to apply for the following projects: <br />RECOMMENDED PROJECTS PHASE GRANT <br />AMOUNT FY <br />Warner Ave. Widening: Main to Oak Design $323,775 13/14 <br />Bristol St. Widening: Civic Center to Washington R/W-Construction $12,468,750 13/14-14/15 <br />Grand Ave. and 1St St. Intersection Widening Design $39,570 13/14 <br />Grand Ave. Widening: Walnut to 1St Street Design $77,625 13/14 <br />Main Street Corridor Traffic Signal Synchronization Design/Construction $1,350,506 13/14 <br />Kraemer/Glassell/Grand Corridor Synchronization Design/Construction $848,800 13/14 <br />Total $15,109,026 <br />55B-1
