Establishments that sell alcoholic beverages require a conditional use permit pursuant <br />to Section 41-196 of the Santa Ana Municipal Code r;SAMC}. <br />Project Location and Site Description <br />The Little Onion Mexican Restaurant is located on an existing, 1.78-acre site developed with amulti- <br />tenant commercial building that is located near the southwest carnet of South Main Street and West <br />MacArthur Boulevard. The site contains 11 retail spaces with several other eating establishments. <br />The commercial building at 110 West MacArthur contains 16,500 square feet and the restaurant itself <br />is 2,400 square feet in size. The overall site contains 106 parking spaces and is surrounded by <br />residential uses to the west and south, commercial uses to the north, and service station, commercial <br />and vacant property to the east. No outdoor seating is proposed for this project {Exhibits 1 and 2}. <br />Project Description <br />The Little Onion Mexican Restaurant is requesting approval of a Type 47 Alcoholic Beverage Control <br />(ABC) license to allow the on-premise sale of beer, wine, and distilled spirits within the entire eating <br />establishment.
