• Thanked outgoing Councilmembers for efforts and dedication to the community and wished them well; • Welcomed new Councilmembers and re-elected Mayor; • Thanked family for strong support and voters for re-electing him; • Acknowledged and congratulated all candidates on the ballot; and • Goal will be to follow the City Charter and collectively as a City Council make decisions that will better our community. Councilmember Martinez: Thanked outgoing Councilmembers for commitment to the City; Welcomed new Councilmembers Amezcua and Reyna; and Requested that the City Adjourn in Memory of Jenni Rivera whom she had the pleasure of meeting a couple of years ago when she and Councilmember Sarmiento provided a tour of Willowick as a potential project sitet; expressed deep condolences to the family. Councilmember Amezcua: Thanked family, extended family members in attendance and friends for support; Will hold Community Office Hours that will allow for open communication and community participation; and Thanked colleagues for reaching out to her and look forward to making Santa Ana a more vibrant City. Mayor Pulido: • Thanked family for support and voters for re-election; • Look forward to putting election behind and move the City forward and working as a team; and Adjourned in memory of Mexican Singer, Jenni Rivera.
