Set Public Hearing For <br />CONTINUED TO <br />FILE NUMBER <br />Award a contract to Galls, LLC for Police Department uniforms for a three-year period, with <br />provision for two, one-year renewals in an annual amount not to exceed $215,000. <br />DISCUSSION <br />The Santa Ana Police Department requires uniforms to outfit approximately 560 Police <br />personnel. Uniforms indentify department personnel by assigned duties and give a professional <br />appearance. In addition, other agencies provide uniforms, shirts and miscellaneous items such <br />as belts and boots for their normal operations and to comply with safety requirements. <br />The notice inviting bids was advertised on November 28, 2012 and bids were solicited.
