<br />Supervising Network Engineer assigned to CalTrans District 7 (L.A.) - Maintenance Contract to support Traffic
<br />Operations and district maintenance personnel on district-wide vehicle detection systems communications
<br />connectivity assurance. Supervised engineers and technicians in copper and fiber communications network
<br />fault isolation, trouble shooting and repair.
<br />Responsibilities: Supervise, lead and support maintenance of data communications network for L.A. Traffic
<br />Management Center (TMC). 1450 field elements (computers, cameras, controllers, etc.) connected to CO with
<br />copper and fiber lines, various distribution equipment DSO to OC-12. On-call 24/7 for dispatch. He worked
<br />directly with the Engineering, support and maintenance groups at CalTrans on repair and preventative
<br />maintenance.
<br />Results: Improvement in network reliability, performance. Faster response to problems. Higher morale in the
<br />TMC.

<br />Responsibilities: Managed personnel responsible for office functions, computers, communications and
<br />accounting systems. Developed and installed computer aided management visibility systems. Supervised
