Agreement with Discovery Science Center <br />February 4, 2013 <br />Page 2 <br />DSC has proposed an enhanced public education program specifically tailored to Santa Ana <br />residents entitled Santa Ana Waste Free Days. One day each month, DSC would welcome <br />Santa Ana residents free of charge and offer a range of programs, activities, and guest incentives <br />focused on the promotion of positive recycling and waste disposal habits. DSC proposes to reach <br />over 9,000 Santa Ana residents through this program each year. The total cost for an entire year <br />of development, programming, and reporting is $120,000. <br />CalRecycle has provided approval to implement the Santa Ana Waste Free Days program.
