PROJECT NO. 13-6786 <br />PROPOSAL AND CONTRACT AGREEMENT <br />BIDDER'S STATEMENT REGARDING APPRENTICESHIP REOUIREMENTS <br />The undersigned BIDDER is familiar with the requirements of Section 1777.5 of the State Labor Code <br />regarding employment of apprentices, and understands that contractors on contracts exceeding $30,000 <br />or 20 working days shall: <br />1. Apply to the joint apprenticeship committee administering the apprenticeship standards of the <br />craft or trade in the area of the site of the public work for a certificate approving the contractor under the <br />apprenticeship standards for the employment and training of apprentices in the area or industry affected. <br />2. Employ the number of apprentices or the ratio of apprentices to journeymen stipulated in the <br />apprenticeship standards. <br />3.
