f.:Yr'siiYY { (tai', � O ,�.i€ !Ofir; se 1 :',:e� <br />Environmental Services <br />Our project managers and environmental planning staff bring substantial experience to the City in the <br />preparation of environmental documents in support of neighborhood street repair, arterial widening, <br />corridor traffic signal synchronization, fixed guideway, sewer main infrastructure hotspot repairs and <br />relining and rehabilitation, pump stations, water mains, and bikeway/park improvement projects. The <br />City's CIP is scheduling bikeway/park and traffic improvements to occur mainly during FY 12/13. Projects <br />that would improve city facilities, infrastructure, arterials, and neighborhoods are scheduled in the City's <br />CIP to occur throughout the term of this contract. <br />Chambers Group is currently performing similar environmental services for neighboring cities; CEQA <br />document and technical studies for street widening at Jamboree/Main intersection in Irvine and CECIA <br />document and technical studies for street modification at Newport Boulevard/32nd Street in Newport <br />Beach. <br />Our project managers and environmental planning staff have all prepared numerous environmental <br />documents for the types of public works projects described in the City's CIP that are subject to CEQA and <br />NEPA, including: <br />• Pre-CEQA/NEPA Preliminary Environmental Study for Caltrans <br />• Categorical Exemption/Categorical Exclusion <br />• Initial Study/Environmental Assessment <br />• Negative and Mitigated Negative Declaration/Finding of No Significant Impact <br />• Environmental Impact Report/Environmental Impact Statement <br />• All CEQA/NEPA Notices <br />EKe <br />Our Biological Resources Department consists of superior wildlife biologists, botanists, regulatory <br />specialists, and restoration ecologists augmented by specialty subcontractors to address issues <br />relevant to task order assignments. Chambers Group biologists provide: <br />• Evaluation of habitats <br />• Wildlife corridor analysis <br />• Presence/absence surveys <br />• Analysis of population parameters <br />Our team members hold specific USFWS and CDFG permits and MOUS to work with sensitive wildlife <br />species including the following: <br />• Desert tortoise <br />0 Quino checkerspot butterfly <br />• Santa Ana sucker <br />• Western burrowing owl <br />San Bernardino kangaroo rat <br />d Arroyo toad <br />Mohave ground squirrel <br />• California red -legged frog <br />Least Bell's vireo <br />• Mountain yellow -legged frog <br />• Coastal California gnatcatcher <br />• Southwestern pond turtle <br />• Southwestern willow flycatcher <br />• Two -stripe garter snake <br />• Fairy shrimp <br />Southern rubber boa <br />CHAMBERS <br />
