Near an aboveground water or fuel storage tank or within 1,500 feet of a high- <br />pressure pipeline which poses a safety hazard <br />(1) Regulation <br />The site shall not be near an aboveground water or fuel storage tank or within 1,500 feet <br />of the easement of an aboveground or underground pipeline that can pose a safety hazard as <br />determined by a risk analysis study, conducted by a competent professional, which may include <br />certification from a local public utility commission. <br />(2) Consistency Analysis <br />PCR contacted the Southern California Gas Company, the State Fire Marshal, the Santa <br />Ana City Water Resources, and utilized various sources such as the Department of Toxic <br />Substances Control (DTSC) EnviroStor database, an online inventory of underground storage <br />and fuel tanks maintained using data from state agencies and responsible parties, to identify <br />potential under- and aboveground storage tanks and pipelines located within a 1,500-foot radius <br />of the project site. The results of the inquiries are listed below and indicate that no petroleum <br />pipelines, fuel pipelines, water storage tanks, or fuel tanks are located within 1,500 feet, and no <br />significant impacts would result from project implementation regarding these facilities. <br />• Southern California Gas Company indicated that no high-pressure natural gas lines <br />are located within 1,500 feet of the site." <br />• The Pipeline Safety Program, Office of the State Fire Marshal, identified no pipelines <br />under its jurisdiction within 1,500 feet of the site." <br />+ The Santa Ana City Water Resources indicated that no high-pressure water lines are <br />located within 1,500 feet of the site.` <br />Cite of Santa Ana.
