Set Public Hearing For <br /> CONTINUED TO <br /> FILE NUMBER <br /> CI GER <br /> <br /> RECOMMENDED ACTION <br /> <br /> Adopt a resolution consenting to the County of Orange declaring a portion of Edinger Avenue as a <br /> County Highway for the construction of the Edinger Avenue Bridge Widening improvements. <br /> <br /> DISCUSSION <br /> On December 17, 2012, the City Council approved a cooperative agreement with the County of <br /> Orange and the City of Fountain Valley for the Edinger Avenue Bridge Widening over the Santa Ana <br /> River (Exhibit 1). As part of that agreement, the County of Orange is requesting the City consent to <br /> declaring a portion of Edinger Avenue as a County Highway to facilitate the completion of the bridge <br /> widening project. Upon completion of construction, ownership of the portion of Edinger Avenue in <br /> Santa Ana would revert to the City. <br /> <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT <br /> <br /> In accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act, the proposed project is exempt from further <br /> review.
