SECOND AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT <br />THIS SECOND AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT is entered into on May 1, 2013, by <br />and between Norman Knispel ("Contractor") and the City of Santa Ana, a charter city and <br />municipal corporation organized and existing under the Constitution and laws of the State of <br />California ("City"). <br />RECITALS: <br />A. The parties entered into an Agreement #N-2011-051, dated April 20, 2011, (hereinafter "said <br />Agreement") by which Contractor has provided administrative hearing officer services for the <br />Police Department. <br />B. The parties entered into a First Amendment to Agreement # N-2011-051-001 dated March <br />29, 2012 wherein the term of the Agreement was extended for an additional one (1) year and <br />the compensation was extended for an amount not to exceed $20,000 to pay for the additional <br />term. <br />C. In accordance with the terms and conditions of said Agreement, the parties wish to extend the <br />Agreement for another one (1) year term and increase the compensation to pay for services <br />provided during that extension of the term. <br />WHEREFORE, in consideration of the covenants contained in said Agreement, and subject to all <br />the terms and conditions of said Agreement, except those amended in this Second Amendment to <br />Agreement, the parties agree as follows: <br />Section 2.A, COMPENSATION, shall be amended to increase the compensation by an <br />amount not to exceed $20,000.00 to pay for additional services provided during the extended <br />term of this Agreement. <br />2. Section 3, TERM, shall be amended to extend the term of said Agreement for an additional <br />one (1) year period through May 1, 2014. <br />3. Except as hereinabove amended, all terms and conditions of said Agreement shall remain in <br />full force and effect. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />25C-3
