Other spaces along the same frontage house <br />a variety of establishments, including eating establishments and pro#essional offices. <br />The use is proposed within a vacant tenant space in the Clausen Block, atwo-story brick structure built <br />in the Neo-Classical Revival style between 1908 and 1909. Minor modifications to the historic structure <br />have been carried out since the time of construction, with seismic retrofits performed in 1980. The site <br />is surrounded by the Ronald Reagan Federal Courthouse to the north, commercial uses to the east <br />and west, and a public parking garage to the south {Exhibits 1 and 2). <br />
