The public Rearing was opened. Written communications in opposition to the removal of the Maharajah House (Landmark) from the Santa Ana Register of Historical Properties were received and distributed to the Commission: Resident Ann Salisbury, Resident Sherri L. Honer, and business owner Tom Lutz. Public speakers: Resident Eric Alderete spoke in support of the staff recommendation to deny the request for removal from the historic register. Julie Humphreys spoke in support of the staff recommendation to deny the request for removal from the historic register. Phil Chinn spoke in support of the staff recommendation to deny the request for removal from the historic register. Janelle McLoughlin spoke in support of the staff recommendation to deny the request for removal from the historic register.
