The address <br />first appears in the 1928 Orange Gounfy Directory with Richard A. and Esse Emison listed as owners. Mr. Emison was the <br />genera! manager of the Santa Ana Lumbor Company. The Emtsons resided in the house until at least 1941. !n 9995 Dr. <br />James G. and Gladys C. Herring owned the house. He was a physician and surgeon. The subsequent owner Dr. Coomber <br />was also a physician.
