Approve and authorize the City Manager and Clerk of the Council to execute agreements <br />for Workforce Investment Act Formula Youth funds with the following Youth Program <br />Operators for Program Year 2013 -2014 in the amount of $982,562. Approve and authorize the City Manager and Clerk of the Council extend the term of the <br />Memorandum of Understanding with the Santa Ana WORK Center for the Youth Service <br />Provider Navigator to June 30, 2014 and allocate funding from program year 2013 -2014 <br />funds in the amount of $357,990. <br />WORKFORCE INVESTMENT BOARD RECOMMENDATION <br />At its regular meeting of May 16, 2013, by a vote of 16:0:3 (De Leon, Elliott, Fischer, Gonzalez, <br />Knitter, Maldonado, Martinez, McMurtray, Nishimoto, Su absent; Didion, de la Riva, Jimenez -Hami <br />abstained), the Workforce Investment Board recommended that the City Council approve the <br />recommended actions as stated above. <br />25D -1 <br />
