Strike Force will be <br /> assigned to patrol and specialized units will be activated to respond to <br /> critical incidents related to civil unrest or barricaded/hostage situations. <br /> Specialized units may also participate in grant funded operations. <br /> Air support services - Funded through asset forfeiture (contract with <br /> sheriff) <br /> Homeland Security Program Participation - (3 officers and 2 <br /> contractors funded by the UASI grant) <br /> Continue to provide full service Type II jail <br /> Community Policing Programs <br /> 1. PAAL Center (funded through grants, asset forfeiture, and <br /> donations) <br /> 2. Parent Academy, Teen Academy, and Jr. COP <br /> 3. Volunteer and Chaplin Programs (funded by general fund) <br /> 4. Directed Patrol (3 officers funded by the General Fund) <br /> 5.
