A-2013-053 AtvCE NC,"T Pl " ll� Vt?i)�iK 'C"EE SECOND AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT THIS SECOND AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT is entered into on May 1, 2013, by and between Norman Knispel ("Contractor") and the City of Santa Ana, a charter city and municipal corporation organized and existing under the Constitution and laws of the State of California ("City"). RECITALS: •• ff iV A. The parties entered into an Agreement #�(--2011-051, dated April 20, 2011, (hereinafter "said Agreement") by which Contractor has provided administrative hearing officer services for the Police Department. Iv B. The parties entered into a First Amendment to Agreement # X2011-051-001 dated March 29, 2012 wherein the term of the Agreement was extended for an additional one (1) year and the compensation was extended for an amount not to exceed $20,000 to pay for the additional term. C. In accordance with the terms and conditions of said Agreement, the parties wish to extend the Agreement for another one (1) year term and increase the compensation to pay for services provided during that extension of the term. WHEREFORE, in consideration of the covenants contained in said Agreement, and subject to all the terms and conditions of said Agreement, except those amended in this Second Amendment to Agreement, the parties agree as follows: Section 2.A, COMPENSATION, shall be amended to increase the compensation by an amount not to exceed $20,000.00 to pay for additional services provided during the extended term of this Agreement. 2. Section 3, TERM, shall be amended to extend the term of said Agreement for an additional one (1) year period through May 1, 2014. 3. Except as hereinabove amended, all terms and conditions of said Agreement shall remain in full force and effect.
