The residence is historically significant for ifs association with #rst owners Noil and Myma Berck. <br />Originally from Nebraska, Neil moved to Santa Ana, Califomta as a child and attended school in Long Beach. He graduated <br />from Long Beach State College with a degree in Industrial Ans. Calvin and Helen Gtlben purchased the home shortly after in <br />1952. Calvin Gilbert was the primary electrician for the construcfion of this structure being a founding member of Gilbert and <br />Steams Electric.
