Review of the receiving screening form. <br />B. Review of any available medical records. <br />C. Review of TB testing results. <br />D. Completion of the medical, dental, and mental health histories. The <br />history will include gender specific inquiries regarding menstrual cycle <br />and unusual bleeding, the current use of contraceptive medications, the <br />presence of an IUD, breast masses and nipple discharge, possible <br />pregnancy for females, and penile discharge for male inmates. <br />E. Physical examinations including laboratory and/or diagnostic tests to <br />detect communicable disease (e.g., sexually transmitted diseases). <br />Additional tests, such as urinalysis and/or blood work, will be ordered <br />as determined by the examiner. Examinations for females will include <br />a pregnancy test, and, if indicated, Pap smear and GC cultures. HIV <br />tests will be completed when indicated and as consented to by the <br />inmate. <br />P. Complete vision and hearing screenings. <br />G. Completion of a dental screening. <br />11. Mental Health screening (including suicidal ideation). <br />1. Laboratory and other diagnostic test results. <br />J. Current diagnosis orders and course of treatment. <br />K. Referrals for follow-up and specialty care. <br />L. Recommendations regarding housing, job assignment, and program <br />participation.
