While no HOME-funded rental housing units were completed during the <br /> report period, 101 units were at various stages of completion and will most likely be reported as <br /> complete during the next report period. <br /> <br /> During 2012-2013, the Housing Authority of the City of Santa ided Rental <br /> <br /> Assistance to 2,682 Low-Income households. Additionally, the ne 'ass were <br /> addressed with the use of ESG funds: <br /> 347 Santa Ana residents received assistance that preve ,ss <br /> • 834 Santa Ana homeless individuals benefited from grams <br /> 39 residents accessed transitional housing and ser <br /> 70 homeless individuals was provided acce, gh the Rapid Re- <br /> housing program model. <br /> 3489 homeless individuals received so a services <br /> <br /> <br /> The housing needs of homeless pe " ne elderly, disabled, victims of <br /> domestic violence, and persons - activities funded by the City. On a <br /> regional basis, HOPWA fun nanent housing opportunities for 47 <br /> individuals-other HOP ;ndividuals with HIV/AIDS. <br /> <br /> The community np _ ssed during the 2012-2013 report period: <br /> ¦ CDBG fund, •nforcement activities aimed at ensuring minimum <br /> <br /> health =_lal properties in target neighborhoods <br /> • CD ist with the rehabilitation fire stations that serve the City's <br /> CD - <br /> • Funds make various street and park improvement projects <br /> <br /> Finally, the City c o address the human service needs of the community via public service. <br /> Public services fund y the City during the 2012-2013 report period were aimed at assisting Low <br /> and Moderate-income households: <br /> • During the report period over 8,082 youths were provided services that included education and <br /> <br /> recreation programs <br /> • Programs such as delivering meals to homebound seniors addressed the needs of 1,121 Santa <br /> Ana seniors <br /> • A homeless outreach program was initiated during the report period - 469 homeless individuals <br /> were assisted <br /> <br /> 08/11/2013 2 <br /> <br /> 19E-10 <br />
