As mentioned at time of enrollment, the program's <br />goals include providing the TOOLS necessary in order for its participants to reach their true work <br />potential. <br />An important program objective is Time Management. Time Management skills are important as they <br />impact the relationship built with employers and other professionals in the workforce. <br />The decisions made in our personal/professional life will always pose consequences, whether positive or <br />negative. Thus, consequences will be applied whenever you fail to follow the below caraceHntina <br />mracedurec: <br />• There is a 48 hour Cancellation or Rescheduling policy for your MEETINGS with: <br />o Case Manager <br />o Educational Counselor <br />o Numeracy Coach (Math Tutor) <br />o Literacy Coach (English Tutor) <br />• Absenteeism or Lateness to your WORK EXPERIENCE PLACEMENT most be reported <br />to SUPERVISOR AND CASE MANAGER 2 hours in advance. <br />—................................ <br />o MECCA OFFICE: Melissa Zerhner <br />o MECCA Outreach/Engagement: Arilene Castro <br />o Reception: Rosie Castro <br />o Early Start: German Ramirez <br />o Learning Academy: Lizeth Lopez <br />o After School Arts: Supervisor's name varies on placement <br />• Absenteeism or Lateness to Graphic Arts or Audio Engineering courses must be reported to <br />INSTRUCTOR AND CASE MANAGER 2 hours prior to class time. <br />• Absenteeism or Lateness to Executive/Administrative Assistant Certificate program must be <br />reported to CASE MANAGER 2hours,prior to class time. <br />*If at tinge of call individual(s) does not answer, leave a message. Atl hour before your report time, try <br />calling again. <br />If the above is not followed the below consequences will be applied: <br />• Strike 1: Verbal Warning. Person whom you had appointment with will speak to you about <br />issue and will notify Case Manager. <br />• Strike 2: You will receive a WRITTEN Warning and Case Manager will be notified. <br />• Strike 3: You will lose 5 hours of Work Experience and Case Manager will meet with you to <br />rearrange schedule. <br />• Strike 4: You will lose Work Experience for the week. <br />Sincerely, <br />The WIA team <br />
