14 <br />training with the expressed goal of reinforcing positive habits, skills and behaviors. <br />Additionally, each student has a team that is set up to help them succeed. This team will <br />include a WIA Youth Case Manager, Program Director, Career Services Team and Instructor. <br />The WIA Youth Case Manager will help coordinate this team as needed to support each <br />student's success. CCC is very hands on. If a student is not in class they will receive a call at <br />home to check in. If they are not showing enough progress in the classroom, they will be <br />required to meet with their Program Director to create a plan for progress. <br />E. What is the length of your program? How much time will a youth need to be in the <br />program to get the full benefits? How often will a participant interact with a case <br />manager? All programs meet 9am-2pm or 6pm-10pm daily. In order to complete the <br />program and receive a certificate of completion students must complete the following <br />hours: <br />o Business Office Administration: 720 hours <br />o Medical Front Office with Billing & Coding: 720 hours <br />o Medical Assistant: 820 hours (Including mandatory externship) <br />o Paralegal: 770 hours (Including mandatory externship) <br />The WIA Youth Case Manager will meet with each student one-on-one once a month and <br />additionally if needed. <br />VII.Training <br />A.What type(s) of training will be made available to youth? List the titles of the training <br />certificates. The following trainings are available to youth: <br />o Business Office Administration: 720 hours <br />o Medical Front Office with Billing & Coding: 720 hours <br />o Medical Assistant: 820 hours (Including mandatory externship) <br />o Paralegal: 770 hours (Including mandatory externship) <br />In order to complete the program and receive a certificate of completion recognized by the <br />California Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education and the Accrediting Council for <br />Continuing Education & Training (ACCET), a U. S. Department of Education nationally <br />recognized accrediting agency, students must complete the above hours for each program. <br />B.What occupations will the training lead to? Are those occupations in demand? Please <br />elaborate. The above trainings prepare graduates to work in the following occupations: <br />• Business Office Administration: Administrative Assistant, Bookkeeping, Accounting Clerk, <br />Receptionist, Office Clerk, HR Assistant. <br />• Medical Front Office with Billing & Coding: Medical Administrative Assistant, Billing & <br />Coding Specialist, Medical Coder, Medical Secretary, Receptionist <br />• Medical Assistant: Medical Assistant, Medical Administrative Assistant, Medical Front Office <br />Assistant, Medical Secretary, Medical Receptionist <br />• Paralegal: Paralegal, Legal Secretary, Law Clerk, Administrative Assistant, File Clerk <br />The above occupations are listed in the Demand Occupation List for Santa Ana. <br />
