supervisor in increments of not less than one-half (1/2) of one hour, beginning October 1, <br />2010 and ending April 30, 2012. Furlough hour deductions from employee wages (four <br />hours per pay period) shall be taken out equally for the number of furlough months <br />beginning October 2010 through March 2012. <br />An advance of up to 40 hours of furlough time may be authorized by Departments for use <br />by employees. Employees who are unable to use their finlough homy due to military <br />leave shall have the time period in which to use the furlough hours extended in an amount <br />corresponding with the length of their military leave. <br />The City agrees that upon the request of the union made after March 1, 2011, the City <br />and union will meet on the subject of employee furloughs to ensure furloughing <br />continues to be implemented in a manner agreeable to the City and union. <br />11 <br />25B-51
