Quarterly Report HCV <br />November 4, 2013 <br />Page 4 <br />Production <br />HQS Inspections <br />Each assisted unit must be <br />inspected at least annually <br />to ensure it meets the <br />Housing Quality Standards <br />(HQS) in compliance with <br />federal guidelines. From <br />July to September, a total of <br />632 inspections and re- <br />inspections of failed units <br />were performed. In addition, <br />when a participant's income <br />changes, an interim examination <br />must be performed. During the <br />reporting period, a total of 846 <br />recertifications /interims were con- <br />ducted.
