Contract Award for Library Elevator <br />November 4, 2013 <br />Page 2 <br />The Engineer's Estimate for the project is $70,000. Based on the ratings and costs, staff <br />recommends that 5Star Elevator Service, Inc., be retained to modernize the elevator at the Main <br />Library. <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT <br />In accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act, the recommended actions are exempt <br />from further review. Environmental Review No. ER- 2013 -92 has been completed and a Notice of <br />Exemption was filed for this project. In addition, a Certification of Categorical Exemption and a <br />Statutory Worksheet have been prepared in accordance with the National Environmental Policy <br />Act. <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />The Cost Analysis for this project shows a total estimated delivery cost of $87,665, which includes <br />construction administration, inspection, and contingencies.
