Periodically, staff requires the <br />assistance of professional licensed appraisers. These appraisers may be <br />asked to determine the fair market value or fair reuse value of <br />properties that might become involved in litigation and /or eminent <br />domain. In such instances appraisers must have credentials that certify <br />them to appear in court and defend the accuracy of the work performed if <br />necessary. Their ability to do so successfully can have a major impact <br />on the Agency's ability to move critical projects forward. <br />Kimbro Consulting is a professional appraisal firm with whom Agency <br />staff has worked successfully in the past. The firm specializes in <br />litigation- related appraisals, including eminent domain. The firm has <br />extensive experience in appraising all types of real estate in the <br />greater Southern California region. <br />11 <br />
