Tom Eidem brings 30 years of experience as <br />a management and economic development professional. Tom's experience <br />includes 11 years management in non - profit economic development <br />organizations, and 11 -plus years as a city manager. Recent consulting <br />projects have involved developing comprehensive economic revitalization <br />strategies, including preparing recruitment and marketing programs, Board <br />development and mentoring, BID /PBID formation, organizational audits, <br />incorporation, and restructuring. <br />By utilizing the services of Tom Eidem as an interim manager, the City <br />has the unique opportunity to address both staffing the downtown office <br />and developing and initiating a downtown economic strategy, which is <br />crucial to downtown's continued evolution. Mr. Eidem offers the key <br />resources to coordinate this ambitious undertaking. <br />As the City evaluates how best to develop and implement its long -range <br />economic initiatives, it is recommended that this agreement identifying <br />Mr. Eidem as the Interim Downtown Manager, be approved in an amount not <br />to exceed $75,000. <br />4 -1 <br />
