Lss10/28/13 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2013 -051 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA CERTIFYING THAT <br />THE CITY HAS THE RESOURCES TO FUND THE PROJECTS SUBMITTED <br />FOR INCLUSION IN THE 2015 FEDERAL TRANSPORTATION <br />IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM AND AFFIRMS ITS <br />COMMITMENT TO IMPLEMENT ALL PROJECTS IN THE PROGRAM <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA <br />ANA AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. The City Council of the City of Santa Ana hereby finds, determines <br />and declares as follows: <br />A. The City of Santa Ana is located within the metropolitan planning <br />boundaries of the Southern California Association of Governments. <br />B. The City desires to include the projects submitted to the Orange <br />County Transportation Authority's (OCTA) Federal Transportation <br />Improvement Program. <br />C. The City warrants that it has committed funding for the City's share <br />as required and accepts responsibility to fully implement the <br />submitted projects in a timely manner. <br />D. The City possesses the legal authority to submit the projects for <br />inclusion in the FTIP and to finance and construct the projects. <br />Section 2. The City is the lead agency for the Projects and will comply with <br />applicable local, state and federal provisions, including Federal Transportation <br />Improvement Program, California Environmental Quality Act, National <br />Environmental Policy Act, Americans with Disabilities Act and Buy America. <br />Section 3. The City Council of the City of Santa Ana hereby affirms the City's <br />commitment to the projects submitted in the 2015 Federal Transportation <br />Improvement Program. <br />Resolution No. 2013 -051 <br />Page 1 of 2 <br />
