Postal Service's finances, Strengthen and protect the Postal Service's invaluable mail <br />processing, retail and last -mile delivery networks that together comprise a crucial part <br />of the nation's infrastructure, Retain door -to -door delivery for 30 million plus <br />households and businesses <br />SECTION 2. City Council transmit copies of this resolution to the President and <br />Vice President of the United States, to the Majority Leader of the Senate, to both US <br />Senator Barbara Boxer and US Senator Dianne Feinstein, and to the United States <br />Postmaster General. <br />SECTION 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption by <br />the City Council, and the Clerk of the Council shall attest to and certify the vote <br />adopting this Resolution. <br />ADOPTED this day of November , 2013. <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br />Sonia R.
