Iss — 11/20/13 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2013- <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />APPROVING THE ADDENDUM TO THE FINAL ENVIRONMENTAL <br />IMPACT STATEMENT / ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT NO. 89 -01 <br />FOR THE BRISTOL STREET WIDENING PROJECT <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. The City Council of the City of Santa Ana hereby finds, determines <br />and declares as follows: <br />A. On November 19, 1990, the City Council approved the Final Environmental <br />Impact Statement / Environmental Impact Report (EIS 89 -01) for the <br />widening of a 3.9 -mile segment of Bristol Street from Warner Avenue to <br />Memory Lane, hereinafter referred to as the "Project". <br />B. City Council has been asked to approve the commencement of Phase IIIB of <br />the Project, widening Bristol Street from Washington Avenue to 17th Street. <br />Phase 1116 includes minor design modifications to the Project approved in <br />EIS 89 -01. <br />C. On December 4, 2013 the City Council of the City of Santa Ana <br />considered the request for approval of the Addendum to the Final <br />Environmental Impact Study / Environmental Impact Report (EIS 89 -01). <br />Section 2. The City Council previously approved and adopted Final <br />Environmental Impact Study / Environmental Impact Report (EIS 89 -01). In accordance <br />with the California Environmental Quality Act, an Addendum to EIS 89 -01 was prepared <br />for Phase 1116 of the Bristol Street Widening Project. Based upon the studies, the City <br />Council determines that there are no new significant impacts or any increases in the <br />severity of the impacts previously identified in the original FEIS /EIR. The City Council <br />hereby approves the Addendum to EIS 89 -01. <br />Section 3. These decisions are based upon the Request for Council Action <br />dated December 2, 2013, and exhibits attached thereto; the public comments; and, the <br />Final Environmental Impact Study / Environmental Impact Report (EIS 89 -01), all of <br />which are incorporated herein by this reference. <br />Section 4. This decision rendered by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana <br />is final and is subject to judicial review pursuant to California Code of Civil Procedure <br />Resolution No. 2013 - <br />EIT72 Page 1 of 2 <br />
