III. Proposed Commission duties and Commissioner composition are <br />described below and will be part of the proposed Ordinance at the <br />December 2 Council meeting <br />IV. The concept of a new City Commission on Arts and Culture was first <br />discussed at the October 28 Parks, Recreation, Education, and Youth <br />(PREY) Council Committee meeting. The PREY Committee expressed <br />their support and desire to see the proposed new Commission come <br />before the entire City Council. <br />V. Staff has been conducting outreach to individuals and groups from the <br />arts and culture community to get their feedback on the proposed new <br />Commission and will continue to do so.
