I am very sorry to see you humiliate yourself with lies. As we stood in the creek and I showed you explicitly where the borders of the property were and where Bruce Bauer and his associates had filled in earth to create a trail across my backyard, you stated, "You need to let other City Council people know, I can't be the only one who knows." This demonstrated your own misunderstanding of the trail and private property and your understanding had been directed, in part, by Bruce Bauer. I then stated that Bruce Bauer has used the confusion in people's minds to further his agenda. I asked you, "Taking a look at what you now know as to the borders of the private property and what you have been led to believe, can you say Bruce Bauer has been forthright ?" You stood in silence looking at me unable or unwilling to make a response. I then said, "See? You cannot say that Bruce Bauer has been forthright and that is symptomatic of how this has progressed." As we stood in the driveway of our family residence and you were preparing to leave, I asked you, "After seeing all of this and comparing it to what you have thought was going on here, can you see how painful it was for many in our neighborhoods to see you appoint Bruce Bauer, the head of the special interest group. as a Parks Commissioner ?" You nodded and said, "Yes." I then told you that I understood how he was trying to ascend into what he perceived as successful power centers in the City and that both of you were of a generation making your careers. I conveyed that I understood why you were trying to help your friend but it was very tough on the rest of us. You then reiterated your call for me to inform others on the City Council. You then took the evidence of the arson that had recently occurred that my son had uncovered in the creek and promised to deliver it to a fire official and left. HOA
