Assess pending Capital Improvement projects for (10) Santa Ana Fire station facilities <br />2. Direct staff to review project(s) as identified by OCFA (enclosed in this report) <br />3. Determine if projects meet funding criteria. <br />4. Re- authorize expenditures as identified in CDBG — Public Facility Improvement — <br />fire station fund <br />5. Develop project timeline for completion of identified CIP related projects for <br />Fire facilities <br />Background: <br />In April 2012, the Orange County Fire Authority assumed Fire/ EMS services for the <br />City of Santa Ana. Ten fire stations are strategically located within the City providing fire <br />and ems emergency response within the City. The OCFA property management section <br />conducted a cursory review of (10) Santa Ana Fire Stations to assess/ evaluate overall <br />conditions of the facilities, the inspection included the following functional areas; <br />• Electrical <br />• Plumbing HVAC <br />• Emergency Generators <br />• Roofs <br />• Apparatus Bay Doors <br />• Diesel Exhaust Collection <br />• Underground Storage Tanks <br />• Dorm, bath, and storage configuration <br />
