ZONING ADMINISTRATOR HEARING <br />MINUTES <br />JULY 22, 2009 <br />MINOR EXCEPTION NO. 2009 -04 <br />10:37 a.m. <br />Mr. Sergio Klotz, Zoning Administrator, called to order the public hearing in the City Hall <br />Ross Annex Conference Room 2001. <br />Also in attendance were: Doug Ely, Sundaram Rama and W. Smallshaw, Applicants; <br />Kent Robertson, Property Owner; Justin Hill, CB Richard Ellis; Vince Fregoso, Principal <br />Planner; Ben Kaufman, City Attorney; and Jocelyn Magalona, Recording Secretary. <br />There were no written communications. <br />Vince Fregoso presented the staff report and recommendation <br />Mr. Rama provided a brief project background. <br />Mr. Ely presented the floor and site plans. Discussion ensued regarding the general <br />operation, drop -off area, parking, outdoor playground and a proposal to approve an <br />alternate site plan. Planning Condition 1 was revised to indicate Preferred Option 1 of <br />the site plan be used as it provides improved circulation; Condition 2 was modified from <br />13 to 16 percent to be consistent with the new site plan. <br />Further, Mr. Ely requested that Planning Condition 4 be amended from 40 to 64 <br />children. Mr. Klotz deleted Planning Condition 4 and modified Condition 3 which <br />already addresses the maximum enrollment of 64 children. <br />The Zoning Administrator adopted a resolution approving Minor Exception No. 2009 -04 <br />with modifications to the conditions. <br />The hearing adjourned at 11:15 a.m. <br />Jocelyn Ma(galona <br />Recording Secretary <br />mr\zoning administration \minutes\2009 \07 -22 -09 ME09 -04 Cambodian Family <br />
