December 30, 2013 <br />Mr. Kenny Nguyen <br />Public Works Agency <br />City of Santa Ana <br />20 Civic Center Plaza (M -36); 3rd Floor, Ross Annex <br />Santa Ana, CA 92701 <br />Subject: Proposal for Pavement Management Program Update -2014 <br />Dear Mr. Nguyen: <br />It is our pleasure to submit our proposal to assist the City of Santa Ana in continuing the <br />proactive management of your Pavement Management Program (PMP). With the City seeking <br />to move toward stronger infrastructure management methodologies through advanced <br />pavement inspections, zone maintenance, MicroPAVER use, Capital Improvement reporting <br />(CIP), OCTA Measure M2 compliance and GIS development, Buckram Infrastructure Group, Inc. <br />has identified a proactive and cost efficient method to assist the City in implementing a <br />successful PMP. Our team will focus our long -term Orange County- Southern California <br />experience and GIS /GPS technologies to optimize the City's maintenance dollars by <br />implementing a manageable and reliable PMP methodology. <br />Our project staff can be relied upon to provide outstanding service to the City because we will <br />provide: <br />Relevant and accurate PMP services based on our ongoing work with the Orange County <br />Transportation Authority (OCTA), Measure M2 compliance (Bucknam has assisted <br />fourteen (14) OC agencies comply with M2 in the past year) <br />OCTA M2 compliant MicroPAVER surveying, reporting and pavement analysis by May, <br />2014 (prior to June 2014 deadline) <br />Local- Orange County knowledge and experience gained through our management of 60 <br />local agency PMP's within Southern California; Mr. Peter Buckram is currently serving <br />as Project Manager for numerous Orange County PMP projects (i.e. Aliso Viejo, San <br />Juan Capistrano, Laguna Niguel, Brea, Irvine, Fountain Valley, Huntington Beach, Costa <br />Mesa, Tustin, RSM, Laguna Beach, Laguna Hills, Newport Beach and Westminsterl and <br />he has personally managed over 200 PMP projects over the past fifteen years <br />Project /engineering experience that brings the understanding that MicroPAVER results <br />are not set in stone; we proactively use the available data to enhance budget, <br />forecasting, project planning and maintenance zone development <br />SUCKNAMINFRASTRUCTURE GROUP, INC, - <br />3548 Seagate Way, Suite 230 Oceanside, CA 92056 <br />T. 760.216.6529 F. 769.216.6549 <br />wwwLUCkrcem- Inacom <br />25G -13 <br />
