ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORTADDENDUM <br />Bristol Street Widening Phase HIS — Washington Avenue to 17`" Street <br />Mitigation Measures <br />No new additional mitigation measures are required. <br />d.) Be located on a site which is included on a list of hazardous materials sites compiled pursuant to <br />Government Code Section 65962.5 and, as a result, would it create a significant hazard to the <br />public or the environment? <br />The Project area is developed with residential, institutional, open space, commercial and retail uses. <br />Pursuant to the Initial Site Assessment prepared by URS Corporation (2013b), the Project site includes a <br />former service station location where gasoline was reported to have contaminated the groundwater; the <br />site is currently under -going site remediation through appropriate state and local agency standards as <br />required. Compliance with existing regulations and mitigation measures from the 1990 FEIS/EIR would <br />ensure that impacts are not greater than previously analyzed in the 1990 FEIS /EIR. <br />Mitigation Measures <br />No new additional mitigation measures are required. <br />e.) For a project located within an airport land use plan or, where such a plan has not been adopted, <br />within two miles of a public airport or public use airport, would the project result in a safety <br />hazard for people residing or working in the project area? <br />The Project site is not within an airport land use plan. The closest airport to the site is John Wayne — <br />Orange County Airport, more than five miles southeast of the Project site. The proposed widening would <br />not introduce any new risks or increase risks associated with the Project. <br />Mitigation Measures <br />No new additional mitigation measures are required. <br />f.) For a project within the vicinity of a private airstrip, would the project result in a safety hazard <br />for people residing or working in the project area? <br />The Project site is not within the vicinity of aprivate airstrip and would not create any safety hazard. The <br />proposed Project would not create additional significant impact. <br />Mitigation Measures <br />No new additional mitigation measures are required. <br />g.)
