Agreement with IDModeling, Inc. For <br />Water System Computer Modeling <br />February 18, 2014 <br />Page 2 <br />Based on the rankings, staff recommends that IDModeling, Inc., be retained to provide water <br />system computer modeling services. The proposal contained a clear path toward achieving the <br />City's goals and objectives as required by the RFP. Additionally, the proposed plan includes four <br />value -added analyses — fire flow analysis, criticality analysis, water quality analysis, and energy <br />analysis — to be provided upon completion of the project. The additional cost of $76,515 above <br />the base fee is within budgetary limits. <br />IDModeling, Inc., is a leading expert in the field of water modeling and has a proven record of <br />successful water system computer modeling services nationwide. The company has recently <br />worked with the Cities of Indio, Lakewood, Arcadia, and Anaheim, constructing water system <br />computer models or providing updates to existing models. <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACTS <br />There is no environmental impact associated with this action. <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />Funds are available in the Water Administration and Engineering Account (No. 06017645 - 62300). <br />APPROVED AS TO FUNDS AND ACCOUNTS: <br />WN <br />Edwin "William" Galve , .E.
