<br />SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />MAYOR PRO TEM TINAJERO <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBERS: AMEZCUA, BENAVIDES, <br />MARTINEZ, REYNA, SARMIENTO <br /> <br /> <br />PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br /> MAYOR PRO TEM TINAJERO <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />WORK STUDY SESSION <br /> <br />1 CITY COUNCIL REVIEW AND DISCUSS THE DRAFT 5-YEAR STRATEGIC <br />PLAN <br /> <br /> Presentation by City Manager David Cavazos <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />PUBLIC COMMENT <br /> * <br /> In accordance with the City Council’s Rules and Procedures, the City has called this Special <br />Meeting after 8 Community Meetings for the purpose of providing the City Council an opportunity <br />to discuss the Draft 5-Year Strategic Plan. The staff will take Council’s input in preparing a <br />recommended Strategic Plan that will be presented at a regular City Council Meeting. <br /> <br /> For that reason, the City will allow for one-hour of public input on the agendized item only. The <br />presider of the meeting will determine time limits on speakers based on the number of people <br />and <br />wishing to speak when input will be taken.* <br /> <br /> All requests to speak shall be submitted in writing to the Clerk of the Council at the beginning of <br />the meeting and before Public Comments begin. Speaker forms will be available at the meeting. <br /> <br />REQUESTS TO SPEAK SHALL NOT BE ACCEPTED AFTER THE PUBLIC COMMENT <br /> <br />SESSION BEGINS WITHOUT PERMISSION OF THE CHAIR. <br /> When speaking, all persons <br />addressing the City Council shall follow the rules of decorum. The presiding officer shall have the <br />power and responsibility to enforce decorum and order of the meeting as set forth in Section 2- <br />104(c) of the Santa Ana Municipal Code. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> - The next regular meeting of the City Council is scheduled for Tuesday, <br />March 4, 2014 at 5:00 p.m. for the Closed Session Meeting immediately <br />followed by the Regular Open Business Meeting at 5:45 p.m. in the <br />Council Chamber, 22 Civic Center Plaza, Santa Ana, California. <br />CITY COUNCIL AGENDA 2 FEBRUARY 22, 2014 <br /> <br />
