ESG FY 2014 -2015 Recommendations <br />April 1, 2014 <br />Page 2 <br />Parks and Recreation staff and one Community Development consultant conducted applicant <br />interviews to rate and rank the proposals using the following criteria: 1) community need 2) <br />capacity to provide service and 3) effective and efficient use of funds. A list of all agencies <br />submitting proposals, type of program, grant amount received in FY 2013 -2014, and the <br />recommended funding for FY 2014 -2015 is provided as Exhibit 1. <br />Fifteen of the 24 proposals are being recommended for funding for FY 2014 -2015. The <br />organization's receiving the lowest average rating in each category (homeless prevention, rapid <br />re- housing, domestic violence, transitional shelter and street outreach) were not recommended <br />for funding.
