REVIEW AND ADOPTION OF THE FIVE -YEAR STRATEGIC PLAN (FY2014- <br />15 THRU FY 2018 -19) <br />Councilmember Martinez proposed that Active Transportation fund a <br />Coordinator position to lead Circulation Element, Safety Training through Police <br />Department; additional four (4) Code Enforcement Officers to help with <br />commercial and residential community concerns; Create city scholarship for <br />sport participation; commitment to deferred maintenance and internship <br />programs; request more accountability which is separated by policy, program, <br />and plans; fiscal impacts for programs; Active transportation- would like to have <br />a CicLAvia type event in Santa Ana- would like to have a "Sunday on Main <br />Street" in South Main Street (15t and Main to Edinger) - event would close the <br />street and then have people the opportunity to bike, walk and shop through this <br />corridor; ICE language to be addressed to meet the commitment of the <br />community.
