ZONING ADMINISTRATOR HEARING <br />MINUTES <br />JUNE 26, 2013 <br />CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT NO. 2013 -18 <br />11:24 a.m. <br />Mr. Sergio Klotz, Zoning Administrator, called to order the public hearing in the City Hall Ross <br />Annex Conference Room 2001. <br />Also in attendance were: Tu Thanh Chu, Applicant; Travis Nguyen and Hue Thai Luu, <br />Neighborhood Residents; Hongloan (Jackie) Hull, Sr. Housing Specialist; Ali Pezeshkpour, <br />Assistant Planner; Escarlet Mar, Intern; Mike McCoy, Police Department; Ryan Hodge, City <br />Attorney; and Jocelyn Magalona, Recording Secretary. <br />There were no written communications. <br />Ms. Hull from the City's Housing Department translated for the Vietnamese residents. <br />Mr. Pezeshkpour presented the staff report and recommendation for approval. <br />The Police Department noted Condition No. 20 and stated the parking and lighting standards <br />must be up to code prior to the issuance of a letter of approval to the Alcoholic Beverage <br />Control Board. <br />Ms. Luu and Mr. Nguyen stated their opposition to the project citing parking, traffic and overall <br />safety concerns. The Zoning Administrator explained the conditions are in place to avoid such <br />concerns. <br />Discussion and clarification ensued that resulted in a continuance to allow the residents the <br />opportunity to review the staff report and conditions of approval. <br />The Zoning Administrator continued Conditional Use Permit No. 2013 -18 to July 10, 2013 at <br />10:30 a.m. at the City Hall Ross Annex, Second Floor Conference Room 2001, 20 Civic Center <br />Plaza, Santa Ana, California 92701. <br />The hearing adjourned at 11:57 a.m. <br />Jocelyn Magalona <br />Recording Secretary <br />mAza\m1nuleW01 316 -2 6 -1 3 CUP 13-18 Quan de Thul 64 ABC.min <br />
