ZONING ADMINISTRATOR HEARING <br />MINUTES <br />MAY 16, 2012 <br />RESIDENTIAL RELOCATION NO. 2012 -01 <br />MINOR EXCEPTION NO. 2012 -01 <br />10:11 a.m. <br />Mr. Sergio Klotz, Zoning Administrator, called to order the public hearing in the City Hall <br />Ross Annex Conference Room 2001. <br />Also in attendance were: Saul Delgado, Applicant; Delia Orosco and Lupe Zaragoza, <br />Neighborhood Residents; Matt Foulkes, Management Aide; Ryan Hodge, City Attorney; <br />and Jocelyn Magalona, Recording Secretary. <br />There were no written communications. <br />Mr. Foulkes presented the staff report and recommendation for approval. <br />Ms. Zaragoza stated her mom, Delia Orosco, was concerned for her property and <br />wanted clarification; staff explained the project and public hearing process. <br />The applicant provided pictures of other projects that have been completed as samples <br />of their work. <br />Discussion and clarification was held regarding the plans which led to the following <br />conditions being added: turn the roof gable on the second unit to be perpendicular to <br />the first floor; use wood windows on the second unit to match the main house; add a <br />gabled entry and exterior landing to the second unit entrance; enhance the front porch <br />columns of the main house to be consistent with the California Bungalow style; use <br />alternate material other than concrete around the base of the front porch landing of the <br />main house; address the existing Abatement Notice from the Public Works Agency; and <br />the residential relocation permit must be finalized prior to the permit issuance for the <br />second unit except for the foundation permit for the detached garage and second unit. <br />The Zoning Administrator inquired if the applicant read and agreed with all of the <br />conditions. The applicant stated his agreement to all of the conditions. <br />The Zoning Administrator adopted a resolution approving Residential Relocation No. <br />2012 -01 and Minor Exception No. 2012 -01 with added conditions. <br />The hearing adjourned at 10:51 a.m. <br />Jocelyn Magalona <br />Recording Secretary <br />mriza\minules\201 M -16 -12 RR12 -01 ME 12- 01.min <br />
