c) New monuments or ties will be set as required, In compliance with the State of <br />California's Land Surveyor's Act Section 8771 and customs of the City of Santa <br />Ana. <br />d) Copies of the filed pre and post - construction Corner Records or Record of <br />Survey as required will be provided to the City Surveyor, <br />HORIZONTAL. AND VFETICAL. CONTROL <br />a) As requested by the City's Senior Surveyor, Truxaw will provide permanent <br />control points for topographic or construction surveys. <br />b) Horizontal control will be based on the 1983 North American Datum (NAD83), <br />tied to a minimum of two proximate County of Orange, CCS83, Zone VI, <br />1991.35 Epoch Adjustment control points. Project coordinate values will be <br />provided in U.S. Survey Feet. The County control points will determine the <br />Basis of Bearing for the project. <br />c) Vertical control will be based on the North American Vertical Datum of 1988 <br />(NAVD88), tied to a minimum of two proximate County of Orange bench marks. <br />Project elevations will be provide in U.S. Survey Feet, <br />d) Truxaw will provide the City's Senior Surveyor with copies of field notes, and <br />raw electronic field book showing methodology, closures and any adjustments. <br />e) Final adjusted coordinate points will be stored in Point number, Northing, <br />Easting, Elevation and Description (P,N,E,Z,D) format compatible with <br />Microstation V8. <br />MAP CHECKING <br />a) Information furnished by the City for checking will be roughly as follows: 1 set of <br />Exhibits, title reports, reference documents (Dead, Parcel Map, Tract Map, <br />etc.), traverse closures, and improvement plans. <br />b) Review Exhibits for technical correctness and completeness, consistency with <br />the City guidelines and requirements, compliance with the Subdivision Map Act, <br />and acceptance for recording. <br />c) Review title report and existing easements for correct plotting and references. <br />d) Review improvement plans associated with the project to ensure the Exhibits <br />correctly identify the limits and location as shown on the improvement plans. <br />e) Provide a set of redline check prints showing the redlined comments, and <br />required corrections and information. <br />f) Provide a check letter covering the major required comments, and corrections <br />and instruction for future submittals. <br />g) Provide a timesheet with Items L. and M. above at the end of every review. <br />The timesheet must include, but is not limited to, project name, review number, <br />dates, review hours, hourly rate, and total cost. <br />OFFICIAL MAP PREPERATION AND BOUNDARY SURVEYS <br />a) Official Maps, including Records of Surveys, Parcel Maps, Lot Line <br />Adjustments, and Certificates of Compliance will be prepared in compliance <br />with applicable state law and local Custom at the request of the City's Senior <br />Surveyor. <br />b) Boundary surveys will be completed in accordance with applicable State law <br />and local custom.
