REQUEST FOR HOUSING <br />AUTHORITY ACTION <br />MEETING DATE: <br />APRIL 1, 2014 <br />TITLE <br />QUARTERLY REPORT OF CONTRACTS <br />ENTERED INTO BY THE EXECUTIVE <br />DIRECTOR <br />r - /i1- <br />RECOMMENDED ACTION <br />Receive and file. <br />DISCUSSION <br />SECRETARY USE ONLY: <br />I_199CT -00:17 <br />❑ As Recommended <br />❑ As Amended <br />CONTINUED TO <br />On October 6, 2008, the Housing Authority increased the Executive Director's authority to execute <br />agreements from an amount not to exceed $10,000 to $25,000. Agreements valued at greater <br />than $25,000 require approval by the Board of Directors. This is the same authority granted to the <br />City Manager by the voters through a Charter Amendment in November 2006. The authority <br />granted to the Executive Director required the submission of a quarterly report to the Housing <br />Authority at a public meeting on all such agreements. The report is required to include the names <br />of contractors and the amounts of each contract.
