CONTINGENCY INCREASE FOR BROADWAY REHABILITATION AND <br />WATER MAIN IMPROVEMENTS FROM CIVIC CENTER DRIVE TO <br />SANTA CLARA AVENUE (PROJECTS 116743 & 116415) – Public Works <br />Agency <br /> <br />: <br /> RECOMMENDED ACTIONS <br /> <br />1. Increase the contract contingency for the Broadway <br />Rehabilitation and Water Main Improvements Project by $650,000, <br />which increases the Christensen Brothers General Engineering, <br />Inc., construction contract to a maximum of $5,383,144.65. <br /> <br />2. Authorize the City Manager to execute change orders in an <br />amount not to exceed the total authorized contract. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />AGREEMENTS <br /> <br />25A. AGMT - CONSULTANT AGREEMENT FOR HOUSING OPPORTUNITY <br />ORDINANCE PROGRAM ANALYSIS AND MANAGEMENT SERVICES – <br />Planning and Building Agency <br /> <br />: Authorize the City Manager and the Clerk <br /> RECOMMENDED ACTION <br />of the Council to execute the attached consultant agreement with <br />Keyser Marston Associates to allow a one year contract, with two <br />one year renewal options, for a potential total of three years in an <br />amount not to exceed $35,000 for Housing Opportunity Ordinance <br />program analysis and management services, subject to non- <br />substantive changes approved by the Executive Director and City <br />Attorney. <br /> <br /> <br />25B. AGMT - POLICE FACILITY FIRE SYSTEM MAINTENANCE AND CITY- <br />WIDE HVAC SYSTEM REPAIRS – Police Department <br /> <br /> Authorize the City Manager and Clerk of <br />RECOMMENDED ACTION: <br />the Council to execute an agreement with Siemens Industry, Inc. to <br />provide Police facility fire system maintenance and City-wide HVAC <br />system repairs for a one-year period in an amount not to exceed <br />$62,610 subject to non-substantive changes approved by the City <br />Manager and City Attorney. <br /> <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL AGENDA 8 APRIL 15, 2014 <br /> <br /> <br />
