Section 5. Notice of Election. Notice of time and place of holding the <br />election is hereby given, and the Clerk of the Council is authorized, instructed and <br />directed to five further or additional notice of the election, in time, form and manner as <br />required by law. <br />Section 6. Impartial Analysis. Pursuant to Elections Code section 9280, the <br />City Council hereby directs the Clerk of the Council to transmit a copy of the ordinance <br />to the City Attorney. The City Attorney shall prepare an impartial analysis of the <br />ordinance, not to exceed 500 words in length, showing the effect of the ordinance on <br />the existing law and the operation of the ordinance, and transmit such impartial analysis <br />to the Clerk of the Council within ten (10) days following the adoption of this Resolution. <br />Section 7. Certification. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon <br />its adoption by the City Council, and the Clerk of the Council shall attest to and certify <br />the vote adopting this Resolution. <br />ADOPTED this 15th day of April, 2014. <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br />Sonia R.
